Four charges filed against a Waynesburg police officer accused of pointing a handgun at his wife in South Union Township were dismissed Wednesday. After more than an hour of legal wrangling,

defense attorney James Davis of Uniontown

and

Fayette County Assistant District Attorney Peter U. Hook


agreed to a deal
that dismissed
all the charges
filed against Robert Lee Kelly III of Rices Landing but added a charge of disorderly conduct. In turn, Kelly pleaded guilty to the lesser charge...
